GORGOROTH guitarist Infernus was recently released on parole after serving time for aggravated sexual assault in connection with an alleged rape of a 29-year-old woman in Bergen, Norway in 2004.
Infernus and a friend (whose identity has not been revealed by the Norwegian media) were found guilty in 2005 of raping the woman. They were both sentenced to three years in prison. In January 2006, the court of appeals upheld Tiegs' friend's rape conviction, but found no evidence to support the rape charge against the GORGOROTH guitarist.

GORGOROTH frontman Gaahl was released from the Norwegian prison in December after being jailed since the spring of 2006.
